" Japanese Bistro Kamome is a lovely gem tucked away near Joyce-Collingwood. I love their philosophy of homemade cooking; it shows in the quality of their meals. I ordered their ikura onigiri and miso soup, and both were fantastic! The ikura was generous in size with fantastic flavor. My only criticism would be the limited seating—it tends to fill up quickly, so be prepared to wait during peak hours. " After long travels, I found this sweet haven for Japanese food and I’m so glad I did! The ebi tempura was light and crispy with perfect seasoning! I couldn’t resist getting another onigiri because they were just that good. While the restaurant is very small, it adds a quaint touch to the overall experience.
